Here is some entry information for upcoming golf tournaments in the area
ERA KING CHARITY CLASSIC, May 4 at Anniston Country Club. Entry fee for the four-man scramble that benefits East Central Alabama UCP is $125 per player/$500 team ($5 mulligans/2 maximum). On site registration begins at 9 a.m. For details call 237-8203.
FORT McCLELLAN CREDIT UNION CANE CREEK INVITATIONAL, May 5-6 at Cane Creek Golf Course. Entry fee is $100 and $15 for unlimited practice rounds with paid entry. For details call 820-9147.
GADSDEN COUNTRY CLUB INVITATIONAL, May 18-20. Entry fee $190 ($160 members). All players qualifying for the Championship Flight must tee off by 12:30 p.m. May 18. Deadline for entries is 5 p.m. May 16 or 124 players. The tournament is part of the Calhoun County Golf Tour for the first time. For details call 546-2011 or email matt@the gadsdencountryclub.com

WILFRED GALBRAITH ANNISTON COUNTRY CLUB INVITATIONAL, June 1-3. Entry fee $195 ($150 for ACC members). The top 32 and ties from Friday’s qualifying advance to the Championship Flight, which will be played from the blue tees and be eligible for Alabama Golf Association points. All players are eligible for Calhoun County Golf Tour points. Deadline for entries is 5 p.m. May 29. Entry forms are available at the club.
