ACC Champ

Timmy Woodard shot a final-round 76 Sunday and won the Walker Reynolds ACC Club Championship by a stroke over Jake Goggans. Woodard shot 144 for the two days.

Chase Thomas won Flight B (75-76—151), Don Springer won Flight C (79-74—153), Wes Couch won Flight D (83-79—162) and Bill Robison won the Senior Flight (81-76—157).

Entries are now being accepted for the Wilfred Galbraith ACC Invitational, June 1-3. The top 32 and ties from Friday’s qualifying advance to the Championship Flight, which will play from the blue tees and be eligible for Alabama Golf Association player points.

The remainder of the field will play from the white tees and be flighted after the Saturday round. All players in the tournament in the tournament are eligible for Calhoun County Golf Tour Points. Entry fee is $195 ($150 for ACC members). Deadline for entries is 5 p.m. May 29. Entry forms are available at the club.
