The game was filled with statistics for Talladega. Chaztin Tanner hit four of the Tigers’ 14 3-points and finished with a game-high 21 points and seven assists. Fred Dickerson had 15 points and 10 assists. Ashton Duncan had five steals and five assists to go with his 18 points. Tyrese Scales had 17 points, four steals and six assists. Kobe Simmons had 10 points and 11 boards.

Jay Patterson (15), JQ Wilson (11) and Rontavious Barclay (10) also scored in double figures. Tigers coach Chucky Miller said he couldn’t recall having more than six double-figure scorers in any game he coached, either at Talladega or Wellborn.

GIRLS GAMES

Jacksonville 64, Wellborn 56: Jacksonville’s Kyra Williams scored 34 and combined with Kayla Broom for 46 points to outscore Wellborn’s Katessa (22) and Vanessa (20) by two in a classic shootout.
