Westbrook Christian boys and girls win team and individual honors at the Gadsden Area Invitational

SILVER LAKES – William Wethington shot under par for the second day in a row and edged Westbrook Christian teammate John Hilliard Catanzaro for medalist honors at the Gadsden Area Invitational.
Wethington shot a 3-under 69 at Silver Lakes and finished at 5-under 139 for the tournament. He edged Catanzaro by a shot for individual honors. Westbrook Christian ran away with the team title, posting a two-day total 604.
On the girls side, Westbrook’s Hope Cone won low medalist after a final-round 76 and Westbrook had each of the top three individual finishers to win the team title by 140 shots.
