Darby leads Munford Middle at archery nationals, finishes top 10 among sixth-grade girls

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The results are in and Munford Middle’s Taylor Darby finished in the top 10 among sixth-grade girls at the NASP national archery tournament.

Darby shot 285 Thursday and finished ninth out of 727 sixth-grade girls. She was 61st out of 2,326 middle school girls and 178th out of 6,027 total girls.

Landry Bradford was the team’s highest scoring boy. He shot 275 and placed 81st out of 800 sixth-grade boys.

Munford posted a team score of 3162 placed 112th out of 206 middle school teams, sixth among those from Alabama.

The team’s top five scorers were Darby, Bradford, Collin Sirmon (274), Tyler Ferguson (270) and Anna Grace Jones (268).
