Six Calhoun County high school basketball teams land in the final ASWA statewide basketball poll

Six Calhoun County high school basketball teams are in the final Alabama Sports Writers Association rankings.
Pleasant Valley is the highest ranked girls team in the county, pulling down a No. 6 ranking in Class 3A. “Now let’s play like it,” PV coach Brad Hood said.
Anniston is ranked No. 9 in the Class 5A girls poll and county champion Saks is No. 10 in the 4A poll.
Sacred Heart is No. 1 in the Class 1A boys poll. Anniston is No. 6 in Class 4A and White Plains is No. 10 in 4A.
Anniston and White Plains play in the Bulldogs’ gym Thursday night.
