Johnson’s 71 leads at Cider Ridge

OXFORD — Jason Johnson shot 1-under-par 71 Saturday and opened a two-shot lead after the opening round of the Cider Ridge Club Championship.
Tim Steward shot 73 and Frank Toland 74 in the Championship Flight.
Chase Hollingsworth shot 76 and leads defending champion Daniel Black in the First Flight by one. David Messer leads the Senior Flight at 70.
The tournament concludes Sunday.
