13 ready for Piedmont 7-on-7

PIEDMONT — Thirteen varsity teams will descend on Piedmont’s football complex Saturday for the 2014 edition of the Bulldogs’ 7-on-7 tournament.
Organizers are expecting more than 400 players and coaches to be on hand. Spectators are welcome and admission is free.
Pool play begins at 9 a.m. There are four games in each 30-minute session.
The participating varsities include Piedmont, Munford, Gaston, Anniston, Pleasant Valley, Ranburne, Cleburne County, White Plains, Randolph County, West End, Leeds, Jacksonville and Westbrook Christian.
It’s the eighth year for the event.
